We would like to thank Ian Radwell from Vincent Real Estate for looking after us when we came to Orihuela Costa in June to buy a property. Ian listened to what we said regarding the type of property we wanted to purchase and in the price range that we were prepared to pay. Ian did his homework, he sent the property details to us in advance for the houses we were going to view and when he came to pick us up to take us viewing he had all the relevant paperwork with him. So we knew where we were going and what properties we would be viewing. Ian had done his homework and he had an answer for all our questions related to the properties, this included the government taxes and community fees, lawyers’ fees, local amenities etc.

We did go out with a number of other property agents from various agencies and were disappointed with them because they did not tell us in advance what properties we would view, some of these other agents had no paper work with them so we had nothing but their word regarding the property prices. They appeared to have their own agenda and the properties we saw were not what we asked to see. For example we asked for a minimum 2 bathroom house, they showed us a 1 bathroom house, this is unprofessional and time wasting.

So it is important to do your research before coming to Spain. Know what you want, know your budget and get a good agent, my wife and I were extremely pleased with Vincent Real Estate. Their set up from start to finish was professional, no hard sell, they did not tell us to buy a property immediately "as the prices were rising again". Ian took us around different areas explaining the location and the local facilities, the VRE staff, their offices and transport all said ''professional'' and when you are parting with a large sum of money it does give you confidence that you are in safe hands. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for property in the Costa Blanca area to use Vincent Real Estate.
