Punta Prima

Punta Prima is the most northerly point within the Orihuela Costa. It has one small and one large fine sandy beach, rocky coves, cliffs and great views from the Paseo Maritimo. There are plenty of commercial centres with bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy and it is the starting or finishing stop on the Orihuela Costa coastal walking route.

Playa Flamenca

Playa Flamenca is one of several areas within the Orihuela Costa. It is a very popular destination with a large seafront plaza and a fine sandy beach, rocky coves, cliffs and great views. It is one of the starting and stopping points on the Orihuela Costa coastal walking route as well as having the CDM Orihuela Costa municipal sports centre, which has an indoor swimming pool, a selection of courts, a running track and a couple of 7-a-side football pitches. Playa Flamenca has many commercial centres offering a selection of shops and places to eat, a helpful tourist office and the Saturday morning market is one of the largest and busiest in the area.

Cabo Roig

Cabo Roig is one of several areas within the Orihuela Costa. It has a very popular beach and a small marina. It makes up one of one of the stops on the Orihuela Coast coastal walking path and is easily recognisable by the iconic 16th century watch tower.

The area on either side of the main road is known as 'The Strip'. It is packed with bars, cafes and restaurants which offer day and night time entertainment ranging from bands to bingo and quizzes to karaoke. Every year on the 17th March there is a large and lively St Patricks Day Fiesta.

Campoamor

Dehesa de Campoamor is the most southerly area within the Orihuela Costa. It has a beautiful long sandy beach, at one end of which is a picturesque marina and club house. It is the starting point for the Orihuela Costa Coastal Walk and the Aguamarina Natural Coastal Park forms part of its coastline. Three golf courses are situated in the area; Dehesa de Campoamor, Las Colinas and Las Ramblas.

Mil Palmeras

Mil Palmeras is part of Pilar de la Horadada. It has a sandy beach and a promenade which, with a few small deviations, runs the length of the beach and takes you north to Dehesa de Campoamor or south to Torre de la Horadada. The village has a little square and a great 'restaurant alley' which is packed with international restaurants and the Lo Monte Natural Park which is a special reserve for birds.
