The price of resale properties rose slightly in April, but accumulated a year-on-year fall of 1.3%

The price of housing used in Spain remains stable. In April it registered a slight increase of only 0.3%, standing at 1,518 euros / m2.

However, we look at the data for April 2016 (1,539 euros / m2), an interannual fall of 1.3%.

The price has increased in 11 of the 17 communities. The highest increase has been recorded in the Balearics, where owners demand 2.2% more for their homes than a month ago, followed by the rise of Madrid (1.8%) and Andalusia (1.1%). Navarra, on the other hand, has been where prices have fallen the most this month: 1.2%. It is followed by the falls of La Rioja (-0.6%) and Extremadura (-0.5%).

Euskadi (2,484 euros / m2) continues to be the most expensive autonomy. They are followed by the Community of Madrid (2,374 euros / m2) and Baleares (2,105 euros / m2).
