Almost panto time
STUDIO 32 are well into rehearsals for their November pantomime Dick Whittington which will take place at the Cardinal Beluga Theatre in San Fulgencio. The cast is led by leggy Susanne Sayers as Dick Whittington and the multi talented Verity Jo Spencer Hall, finalist in this month's Pride of Spain competition as Alice Fitzwarren, who celebrated her 18th birthday. Jenni Hardy-Rooney is superbly cast as Dame Sara with the comedy actress Bev McEwan playing Barrow Boy Billy and the evergreen actress/singer Dianne Oliver performing the part of landlord Alderman Firzwarren who also sings the classic 'Master of the House' from Les Miserables.
Studio32 have even more comedy talent on show with Karen Love and Pam Sutton playing the Queen Rat and Spirit of London respectively: supported by Queen Rat's henchmen Judith O'Neill as Nip and new teenage find Jacob Baylis as Tuck with the delightful young star Alice Joy Wakeford prancing around the stage as Patches the cat plus the versatile talents of singer/actor Adrian Boardman as pirate Captain Jack Hawk.
The four performances take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th November, with both a matinee and evening shows on the last day.
