Record number of visitors to Zenia Boulevard

New shopping centre Zenia Boulevardhas seen a record number of visitors in its first month of opening, with more than one million people visiting the mall. Billed as one of the largest shopping centre in Europe, the Inmochan-owned Zenia Boulevardin Orihuela Costa has drawn in crowds from far and wide since its opening on 26^thSeptember. With the opening statistics so successful, the Centre’s Management Team is now turning it thought towards Christmas when Zenia Boulevard will be reinforcing its opening offer with the addition of Media Markt, the Casino Mediterráneo, a bowling alley and additional shops and restaurants – all opening their doors in time for the festive season.

Almudena Soubrier, spokesperson for Zenia Boulevardsaid: “The busiest day was recorded on Saturday 13th October with 63,382 customers at the Centre. We believe that the Centre is so popular because not only does it offer highly competitive shopping in terms of pricing and choice, but it also has a pleasing architectural structure. Its design is based on a Mediterranean village, with convenient wide streets, avenues and squares making it easy for visitors to get round. There are also planned activities, performances and concerts which visitors will be able to enjoy free of charge.” 

According to Soubrier the key to the success of Zenia Boulevard is its main differentiator – low-cost, affordable-shopping. Price is one of the most characteristic features of many of the anchor stores at Zenia Boulevard such as: Alcampo, Primark, Norauto, Lefties, C & A, Zara and H & M. The Centre often runs customer promotions and competitions where goods can be won. The current promotion, entitled “Boulevard of fashion” gives customers the opportunity to win their purchases. The promotion will run until 10^th November and more details can be obtained from the information kiosk in the main square.
