Formentera del Segura Fiesta Patron Saints

Formentera del Segura will be enjoying their annual fiesta in honour of San Roque and San Miguel from the 7th to 4th September 2016. There are many traditional activities such as the ribbon races, paella competition, release of the heifers, ringing of the bells, concerts and the solemn procession.

Sunday 7th August

Sunday 14th August

09:00 Romeria with the statue of San Roque from the Ermita to the Parque El Molino

14:30 Paella Competition.

16:00 Chinchon (card game) Competition

17:00 Traditional Games for Adults and Children

20:30 Romeria to return the statue of San Roque

Monday 15th August
19:30 Music bands parade through the streets of the town, followed by the Traditonal Ribbon Race

23:00 Dinner and Dance (Tables can be reserved at the Town Hall for 5€)

Saturday 20th August

21:00 Queens and Ladies parade the streets accompanied by a musical band

22:30 Coronation of the Queens of the Fiestas in the Town Hall
