San Miguel de Salinas Fiesta Miguel Arcangel

The town of San Miguel de Salinas will be celebrating it's annual fiesta from the 10th September to the 9th October 2016. During the celebration they will honouring San Miguel Arcangel as well as enjoying concerts, tapas route, carnival parade, lots of partying and a firework display. The complete programme in English is the brochure below, the main highlights are:

Thursday 15th September
21:00 6th Contest of decorating the streets.

Saturday 17th September
21:00 Inauguration of the fiesta and coronation of the children and teenage Fiesta Queens in the Plaza de la Libertad, followed by music
23:00 Partying in the Barraca.

Sunday 18th September

12:00 6th Tapas Route and the Tourist Train will be providing free transport between the participating establishments.

Saturday 24th September

19:00 Carnival Parade, followed by partying at the Barraca Popular.

Wednesday 28th September

20:00 Flower Offering Parade in honour of San Miguel Arcangel, followed by a Concert

Thursday 29th September

12:00 Mass in honour of San Miguel Arcangel.

20:00 Procession with the statue of San Miguel followed by a firework display.

Saturday 1st October

Equestrian Day at the Recinto Feria on Ctra. Campoamor near the Castle

11:30 Horse and Carriage Parade through the streets of the town.

12:00 Equestrian Games

Sunday 2nd October

Giant Paella in the Plaza Jaime I with live music
