Cartagena Carnival

The city of Cartagena will be celebrating the Carnival from the 2nd to the 13th February 2018. The parade has been given the prestigious title of being of 'Regional Tourist Interest' so is well worth enjoying! Although the carnival will be celebrated throughout the ten days, the main parade will take place on Saturday 10th at 18:00 with over 3,500 people participating!

21:00 Election of the Children Fiesta Queen in the Pabellon Central de Deportes Wssell de Guimbarda, tickets required

Saturday 3rd February
21:00 Election of the Adult Fiesta Queen and Opening Speeches in the Pabellon Central de Deportes Wssell de Guimbarda, tickets required

Sunday 4th February
12:30 Vermut Ball performance by the Agrupacion Musical Sauces in the Plaza de San Francisco

Saturday 10th February
12:00 Performance of the Chirigotas in the Plaza del Icue, Plaza de San Francisco and the Plaza de San Sebastian
18:00 Grand Carnival Parade Route: starting from Alameda de San Antón, Plaza de España Paseo de Alfonso XIII, Juan Fernández, Plaza Juan XXIII, Santa Florentina, Carmen, Tolosa Latour, Sagasta, Puerta de Murcia, Mayor and finishing in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
22:00 Grand Carnival Party in the Plaza de San Fancisco.

Sunday 11th February
12:00 Children's Carnival in the Plaza de Juan XXIII
12:00 Performance of the Chirigotas in the Plaza del Icue, Plaza San Francisco and Plaza de San Sebastián.
